Serious Crib Accidents Injure Thousands Of Infants Each Year

KAB7 News Los Angeles reports that nearly cribs and playpens cause nearly 10,000 infant and toddler injuries each year. This breaks down to 26 crib-related injuries per day. A massive bassinet recall was issued this week following reports of several infants being injured as the result of the bassinet's collapsing.

Many other serious injuries have occurred as the result of dangerous crib design, including drop-side cribs which have been linked to dozens of deaths.
